It's been 14 years since Tom Hanks last stepped behind the camera to direct **That Thing You Do! **But now he's picking up the megaphone again to make Larry Crowne, a new comedy in which he'll star with Julia Roberts.
Hanks also wrote the script for the movie, focused around the title character, a man who is forced to reinvent himself and find a new career as he figures out middle age.
And it'll see the actor and Roberts reunited on screen for the first time since 2007's Charlie Wilson's War. There's no word yet on which studio is picking up the tab, but it'll shoot this April in LA.
