Young Thomas Felton gets a lot of respect around these parts, and a lot of love from sectors of our Twitter following. So chances are plenty of you will be interested – nay, excited – at the news that he’s scored another role, and will be appearing alongside Sharon Stone in Attachment.
Last month, it was revealed that director Tony Kaye set up the sexy thriller, which finds Stone as a married educator who has a risky one-night fling with one of her students. Despite plenty of passion, she shows no interest in turning it into a relationship. But just when she thinks it’s all over, her former paramour reveals himself as a creepy stalker, and starts to terrorise her while also insinuating himself with her teenage daughter.
Talking with the team from Coming Soon while out pimping his latest indie, Detachment, Kaye announced that the artist formerly known as Draco Malfoy will be the obsessed student. Kindly keep all “wand” jokes to yourself.
Christopher Denham wrote the script and Kaye plans to start shooting in the next couple of months. Felton also has The Apparition in the can and is attached to work on novel adaptation Therese Raquin.
