Jack is well and truly back. No, not Bauer. And not Sparrow. We mean Jack Reacher, in the cinematic shape of Tom Cruise for sequel Never Go Back. A new trailer has arrived and can be viewed below.
Never Go Back, directed by Ed Zwick, adapts Lee Child's 18th Reacher tome and finds him blithely ignoring the advice of its title. Called back to his old military base, he’ll be trying to rescue Cobie Smulders' US Army major from an espionage conspiracy that’s bigger than anyone imagined. His solution? Well, it involves some solid Reacher-grade put-downs and quite a lot of fighting.
Yes, never fear... Reacher still sorts out problems with his fists, and Paramount wants you to do the same thing, albeit in the safe, digital environment of the 8-bit tie-in game for the movie, amusingly called Never Stop Punching.
This latest check-in with Reacher is out on 20 October. There's more on the movie in the latest Empire, which is in UK newsagents now. Or you can subscribe to the magazine in both print and digital form{
