Clearly believing that the world will be so desperate to follow the further adventures of Perseus (Sam Worthington) and co after the second **Clash Of The Titans **entry, Warner Bros. has set the writers behind the movie** **to work on a third script.
Wrath – or whatever it ends up being called, as there seems to be some doubt on that front – isn’t due to release its cine-Kraken on these shores until March 30 next year. But the studio seems to be building real confidence in the franchise, especially since Clash overcame some pretty damning reviews and complaints about its shonky 3D to haul in more than $500 million worldwide.
So now Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson, who wrote alongside Eastern Promises’ Steven Knight are going to start cranking out another outing for Perseus, with the Heat Vision Blog hearing that Toby Kebbell’s Agenor, who crops up in Wrath, might also make the cut for the possible new film. But right now, there’s no solid script, so it remains to be seen who they’ll want to bring back besides Worthington.
Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman is putting the finishing touches to Wrath right now. There’s no word on if he’ll want to make another trip to mythological Greece for Clash Of The Titans 3: Zeus Is Kraken Up!
