With Ricky Gervais making it clear that this year's turn hosting the Golden Globes Awards will be his final stint – at least until the HFPA comes up with some more dosh to tempt him back – the question could be asked who will tackle the job next year. And while there are many months left before the ceremony, we already know, as Tina Fey made a surprise appearance at the Television Critics Association winter tour to announce that she'll return alongside Amy Poehler.

“NBC has long been the home to two of the funniest people on the planet – Tina Fey and Amy Poehler – and we didn’t want to wait any longer to share the great news that they’ll be hosting the Globes once again, said Globes-carrying channel NBC in a statement.

It's good news for the Globes, for awards shows in general and for anyone who enjoys a real laugh, as Fey and Poehler proved to be outstanding hosts between 2013 and 2015 and racked up some impressive ratings, especially for their 2014 gig.
