With Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell already aboard and shooting set to start next week, director Paco Cabezas has found another actor for the cast of action/comedy/romance Mr. Right. Tim Roth is now aboard to play a nasty nemesis.

Cabezas is working on this one from a script by Chronicle writer, Frankenstein scribe and Twitter enfante terrible Max Landis. Kendrick plays a woman who has endured a long streak of bad luck when it comes to finding men. So she’s overjoyed to find a guy (Rockwell) who seems to be perfect for her.

That, of course, is when the trouble starts. It turns out that her ideal bloke is a reformed hit man whose lethal past is about to catch up with him in a big way, and the couple’s fledgling relationship is put to the test as they figure out how to save each other.

Roth’s character, Mr. Hopper, used to be Rockwell’s mentor but is now his most deadly enemy. We hate it when that that happens with mentors. And that’s not the end of the hopefully happy couple’s trouble, as RZA is also aboard as a rival marksman.

Roth, last seen in dodgy double bill Grace Of Monaco and FIFA film United Passion****s, has a role in civil rights drama Selma and will be appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.
