Tilda Swinton has been announced as the latest name circling David Fincher’s next project – the long-awaited adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.
Fincher friend Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are finally getting the chance to team up again after Babel for the story of a man (Pitt) who is aging backwards from 50 and falls for a 30-year-old woman.
Swinton’s role isn’t set yet, but she isn’t alone in considering a part. Transporter 2’s Jason Flemyng and Hustle & Flow’s Taraji P Henson are also up for roles. Fincher will have to pick quick – he starts shooting early November in New Orleans.
