Ang Lee, whose Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was a huge success at this year's Cannes film festival, has told China's Life Daily of his plans for both a prequel and sequel, reports Dark Horizons. The film, which stars Chow Yun Fat and Michelle Yeoh, as well as newcomer Ziyi Zhang, has been receiving great reviews for its mix of traditional Chinese storytelling and spectacular martial arts scenes. Ang Lee told the Chinese newspaper of his plans for another two films, as the Du Lu Wang book Crouching Tiger... is based on has five parts, and only the fourth was used as the basis for the movie.
