Being in the beauty industry can be ugly at the best of times, but two friends played by Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne, are about to learn just how. They're the stars of new comedy Like A Boss, which has its first trailer online.
Best friends Mia (Haddish) and Mel (Byrne) are living their best lives running their own cosmetics company that they’ve built from the ground up. Unfortunately, they’re in over their heads financially, and the prospect of a big buyout offer from a notorious titan of the cosmetics industry Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) proves too tempting to pass up, putting Mel and Mia’s lifelong friendship in jeopardy.
And when Claire steals their best ideas, it's the catalyst for a battle over the business. And, of course, a lot of wacky madness.
With Miguel Arteta directing from a script by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly, Like A Boss also features Billy Porter, Jennifer Coolidge and Ari Graynor. It'll be out on 7 February next year.
