She's riding her rising star power to full extent, and Girls Trip's Tiffany Haddish has been landing roles in projects big and small. She's lending her voice to the Lego Movie sequel.
Warner Bros.' animation group has yet to reveal what the story for the new movie will be, or how Haddish's unknown character fits in, but it will see the return of Chris Pratt's Emmet and Elizabeth Banks' Wyldstyle, with Batman (Will Arnett), Superman (Channing Tatum) and Green Lantern (Jonah Hill) all reporting for duty.
Mike Mitchell is directing the new film, which is taking aim at a February, 2019 release date. It's faring better than some of the other Lego titles, with The Billion Brick Race in particular facing troubles getting going.
Haddish is starring with Kevin Hart in Night School (due 28 September) and will also be seen in Uncle Drew and The Oath.
