With a shoot set to start next month in Vancouver, the cast for Shane Black's new Predator film is assembling quickly. Now Black has Thomas Jane spilling ink on a deal to join the ensemble.
This latest Predator, which will see the lethal aliens hunting humans in a cityscape setting more like that of the sequel than the original or 2010's Predators, already boasts the likes of Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown and Trevante Rhodes in the cast. Jane will be playing... Well, in true big studio style, we don't yet know, but we can see him ready to rumble with one of the extra-terrestrial nasties.
Black wrote the script with Fred Dekker and is gearing up to call the shots. Jane has largely been seen in indie movies for the last few years, and recently worked on crime drama 1922. And on the small screen, he appeared in sci-fi drama The Expanse. The Predator will be out on 16 February next year.
