Not to be outdone by the new announcement about the other developing supernatural World War II thriller Overlord, Eric Bress' new film Ghosts Of War has added Luke Cage's Theo Rossi to the cast.
Brenton Thwaites and Skylar Astin are already aboard, playing a group of battle-hardened soldiers assigned to hold a French chateau during the waning days of the conflict. Formerly the base of operations for Nazi high command in the country, what seems like a routine, more restful mission turns terrifying when the troops discover an unearthly enemy far more terrifying than any mortal opposition on the battlefield.
With Thwaites playing the commander of the squad, Rossi will be Kirk, a God-fearing type who has no problem killing Nazis but finds his faith and sanity challenged by the inexplicable forces in the chateau.
Bress wrote the script for the movie, and is aiming to start shooting soon. Rossi, who worked on biker TV drama Sons Of Anarchy for seven seasons, also has delayed movie drama Lowriders headed to screens this year.
