Even though the world seems like it's in some post-apocalyptic movie, an actual post-apocalyptic TV series trundles on. Or so we thought... Even The Walking Dead has had to bow to Coronavirus pressure, as the season 10 finale won't be ready to view in its scheduled time slot.
"Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production on The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5th," according to a statement from US network AMC. "The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year." The show, which airs on Fox the following day in the UK after its US debut, has already been hit by the Big Pause in productions, as pre-production on Season 11 has been delayed.
And that's not the only corner of the Walking Dead universe to be impacted. The planned spin-off The Walking Dead: World Beyond, which had already finished shooting and was aiming to debut the week after the finale of the main show's latest season, will now be shunted to later in the year.
