As work continues on the second season of Apple TV+'s The Morning Show, the cast is expanding. TV veteran Julianna Margulies will be part of the ensemble.

Margulies, who has appeared in slightly well-known shows as ER and The Good Wife, 2ill play Laura Peterson, an anchor at UBA news, where the fictional morning show is based.

Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powley, Karen Puttman and Desean Terry are all returning for the new season of the series, which follows Witherspoon's Bradley Jackson getting her shot at the big time following a sexual misconduct investigation of Carell's Mitch Kessler, leaving Aniston's Alex Levy to host the show.

Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, and Hasan Minhaj are among the other new faces for this second season, which should be arriving on the streaming service next year.
