Surviving the pressure cooker that is the kitchen environment of The Bear is surely preparation enough for the challenges of the MCU. At least, that's what Ayo Edebiri will be hoping, as she's joining the cast of Thunderbolts.
Jake Schreier is directing the movie, with a script by Black Widow's Eric Pearson. Thunderbolts will team the likes of Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost, Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, David Harbour's Red Guardian and Wyatt Russell's US Agent for an unconventional team completing missions for the government.
Also involved? Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the returning Val and Harrison Ford, who steps into the role of Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, taking over from the late William Hurt. Edebiri's role is, you'll no doubt be shocked to learn, is a mystery for now.
Confirmed at last year's D23 event, Thunderbolts will be in cinemas on 26 July next year.
