Late last month, we learned that Channing Tatum would be reuniting with director Steven Soderbergh for a third Magic Mike movie, called Magic Mike's Lance Dance. Though not much has said about returning cast members (is Joe Manganiello's phone ringing, for example?), we do know who will be joining the film, as Thandiwe Newton has signed up.
Reid Carolin has once again written the script, though we have no idea what will happen in the film this time. You've got to figure, given that title, that it'll see Tatum's Mike pondering his future outside of the shedding clothes game.
Right now, it's scheduled to premiere on HBO Max in the US, so no word on where it might be released here, whether in cinemas or elsewhere. And we don't have a release date yet.
