Things are changing rapidly on the casting – and now title – front for David Ayer’s latest film. The Arnold Schwarzenegger film, once called Ten, but now titled Breacher, added Sam Worthington a couple of days ago, but has dipped into the thesp pool once more to pluck out Terrence Howard and Dawn Olivieri.
The action thriller, written by Skip Woods, finds a squad of 10 DEA agents who use a raid on a drug cartel’s safe house as a cover to steal millions from the criminals. But while they appear to have gotten away with it, they start dying one by one.
Howard and Olivieri will be two of the team who are hiding a passionate affair from the rest of their squad and decide to try to steal the heisted cash for themselves. We’re going to guess it doesn’t go well for them.
Ayer is in pre-production now and looking at getting started shooting this October in Atlanta. Howard, last seen in Red Tails, will next crop up in On The Road (due October 12) and Robert Redford’s The Company You Keep. Olivieri has contributed voice work to Marvel’s animated Avengers series and appears with Don Cheadle in US TV comedy drama House Of Lies.
