Bedtime Stories star Teresa Palmer is to join Tom Hardy in Mad Max 4: Fury Road, if her Sorceror's Apprentice co-star Jay Baruchel is to be believed.
Talking to Australia's Herald Sun, Baruchel let slip that Palmer is to be "the main chick" in Fury Road, which starts an exhausting 30-week shoot later this year. "She's going to be there for over a year," he said. "It's really, really cool." The film's producers and Palmer's agents wouldn't be drawn, but director George Miller does have previous form with Palmer, having cast her in his aborted Justice League project (along with Baruchel) a couple of years ago.
Interesting though, since previous info suggested that Charlize Theron was in talks to be the "main chick". Is Baruchel mistaken about the size of Palmer's role? Is Theron not on board after all? Or is she a scene-stealing Auntie Entity style villainess, leaving the way clear for Palmer to be the "main chick" on Max's side?
