Not content with his own directorial career, Ridley Scott produces a vast quantity of other people's films and TV series. He's now launched label called Ridley Scott Presents... and has locked in Teresa Palmer to star in a new thriller called The Twisted.
Olatunde Osunsanmi, no stranger to sci-fi films based on real events after The Fourth Kind, is directing the new movie, which was written by Ari Schlossberg. Palmer will play a child psychologist who has had her own issues in the past and who is dispatched to investigate peculiar events at an isolated orphanage. Turns out several of the children have started to exhibit unusual symptoms follows what they claim was an extraterrestrial encounter.
Given the title, we'd guess they're probably right about that, and things won't turn out well. The cameras are set to start rolling next month. Palmer will be dealing with paranormal activity this August as horror thriller Lights Out arrives on the 15th. She's also worked on Mel Gibson's latest film, Hacksaw Ridge.
