Following a first batch of images that arrived last month, the initial teaser trailer for new Blumhouse thriller, the Kevin Bacon-starring They/Them is online.

Written, directed and produced by The Aviator and Gladiator scribe John Logan, They/Them is the story of a group of LGBTQIA+ teens who are sent to a "gay conversion camp" run by Owen Whistler (Bacon).

His idea is a week of programming intended to "help them find a new sense of freedom". As the camp’s methods become increasingly more psychologically unsettling, the campers must work together to protect themselves. When a mysterious killer starts claiming victims, things get even more dangerous. There are big Camp Crystal Lake echoes here, not least because of Bacon's presence. And as if the idea of "gay conversion" wasn't scary enough, add in a serial killer and you have the recipe for what should be a chilling horror.

The cast also includes Anna Chlumsky, Carrie Preston, Theo Germaine, Quei Tann, Austin Crute, Monique Kim, Anna Lore, Cooper Koch and Darwin del Fabro.

They/Them will be out via the Peacock streaming service on 5 August.
