Rex Linn is best known for appearing in CSI: Miami (as Detective Frank Tripp), The Walking Dead (as Palmer) and Cliffhanger (as Agent "Goddamn" Travers) but his biggest recent movie role so far is in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming spaghetti Western, Django Unchained – but it turns out the director has taken some of his lines for his own unplanned cameo.

“Quentin told me that he liked the scene so much he wanted to be in it, too, and that he would also be taking some of my lines,” Linn explained to Oklahoma news site NewsOK.com.

“So, you'll know the scenes when you see them. We'll be on the screen with Don Johnson and Jonah Hill. The scenes may not be long, but you will remember them.”

Precise plot details around Django are few and far between, and even at this point, Linn's role as Tennessee Harry is unclear. The general plot goes like this, however...

Jamie Foxx stars as Django, a slave who is rescued from a chain gang by German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Turns out that Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and Django can lead him to them. So a deal is offered: if Django helps the hunter find and kill the brothers, Schultz will free him completely and help him track down his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington).

But while our hero takes to the life of a vengeful hunter quickly, he’ll still have to face down the ruthless-yet-charming Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), on his infamous plantation, Candie Land.
