Brittany Murphy will have a little company when she’s stranded in Japan for The Ramen Girl.
Emmy-scoring actress Tammy Blanchard, who will next be seen in Robert De Niro’s The Good Shepherd, has signed on to the comedy, which Robert Allan Ackerman will direct.
Blanchard will play a drug-loving American escort who caters to Japanese businessmen who ends up befriending Murphy’s character.
