Julia Roberts continues to suggest that rumours of her retirement have been greatly exaggerated.
She’s in negotiations to star in Daniel Isn’t Talking, a drama based on Marti Leimbach’s novel. Rent writer Stephen Chbosky is adapting the book, which is set in London and follows a couple and their two kids. When one of the sprogs is found to be autistic, their ordered life is thrown into confusion.
This won’t be the first time Roberts has worked from Leimbach’s writing: 1991’s Dying Young is also adapted from her books. Roberts will next be heard, rather than seen as a voice in the Ant Bully cartoon and is currently working on Charlie Wilson's War with Tom Hanks.
