Bumble-meister, stutter-lord and, as demonstrated in the upcoming Love Actually, accomplished booty-shaker, Hugh Grant has been officially lauded by BAFTA/LA. The US branch of the British Academy of Film and Television bestowed Grant with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia award for his acting excellence in films from Four Weddings and a Funeral to Bridget Jones's Diary. Hugh was presented with the award by Two Weeks Notice co-star Sandra Bullock who unleashed a glowing endorsement of the British star. "Because for the most part he is egoless, he's self deprecating, he's unbelievably smart and talented and that's frustrating to be around - I get a little jealous sometimes. But he's gifted and I don't think he knows how gifted he is." The gifted one was suitably lost for words as he accepted the award (which looks for all the world like an antique bedside table) declaring that it was "very, very nice and unusual for me, I don't really get many prizes and when I do I'm cockahoop".
