Never say never in Hollywood. A mere couple of years after declaiming that he was done with the Rambo franchise (at least in front of the camera), Sylvester Stallone will return to the lead role for Rambo V.

Matt Cirulnick wrote the script for this one, which will find John Rambo living as per usual fairly off the grid. This time, he's at a ranch in Arizona, battling PTSD and working casual jobs. But then his long-time friend and estate manager Maria asks for his help when her granddaughter goes missing while partying in Mexico.

John, Maria and a journalist whose half-sister is also MIA travel to the country, uncovering a sex trafficking ring and needing the old warrior's skills to take down a crime lord. No director has announced yet – Screen Daily's report says that's on the way, and Millennium is looking to have the film shooting in September across London, Bulgaria and the Canary Islands. The rights, as you might expect, will be a hot property at Cannes this year.
