With the cameras already rolling on comedy sequel A Bad Moms Christmas, writer/directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore have rounded up the people to play the mothers of the titular characters, and Susan Sarandon, Christine Baranski and Cheryl Hines are all now part of the cast.
As Christmas speeds toward them like an out of control sleigh, the three main ladies – Kristen Bell's Kiki, Mila Kunis' Amy and Kathryn Hahn's Carla – are facing the challenge of creating the perfect holiday season for their families. No easy task given the pressure, and made even more stressful by the arrival of their own mothers. Sarandon will be Hahn's, Baranski is set as Kunis' and Hines is playing Bell's mum.
Given the success of the first Bad Moms last year, it's perhaps not surprising that this one is falling into place quickly, with a pre-Christmas release date targeted in the US. David Walton, Jay Hernandez and Wanda Sykes are all back from the original and This Is Us actor Justin Hartley recently joined the ensemble. There's no set date for this one to arrive in the UK, but surely it'll have to show its face before 25 December...
