If you've watched any of the Baywatch trailers up to this point, you'll know the tone (and indeed see some repeated moments): comedy with a side of action. More of that is on display in the Super Bowl spot.

The movie version of the cult TV series that built a huge international following on the back of slow-motion running, tight swimsuits and beautiful California beaches features Dwayne Johnson's Mitch Buchanan caring for the bay as much as the people who use it. But when his boss, Captain Thorpe (Rob Huebel) hires hotshot Matt Brody (Zac Efron), the pair initially butts heads. Especially over Matt's swimwear choices.

But when a serious threat rears its head, the team springs into action – even if the local law enforcement officers aren't too thrilled.

With Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kelly Rohrbach and Jon Bass on the team and Seth Gordon behind the camera, Baywatch dashes in on 2 June.
