We've already had one main trailer for James Gunn's anarchic DC movie The Suicide Squad (and Empirebroke it down for you). So it's odd that another sizable tease for the film has now landed so quickly. This time? There's a lot less swearing, more dancing and more of a chance to see some of the team's abilities. Check it out...
Following the David Ayer film, this reassembles some of the team from that release – Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flag, Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang and Squad overseer Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis. New recruits this time include Idris Elba as Bloodsport, the flesh-chomping King Shark (voiced by Sylvester Stallone), the weird Weasel (Sean Gunn), John Cena's Peacemaker, unafraid to kill as many people as possible to secure peace, and T.D.K, played by Nathan Fillion, whose main ability appears to be, er, that he can make his arms fall off.
This new look at the movie is another solid blast of the explosions, yucks (laughs), yucks (blood) and madness we were hoping Gunn would bring to the characters.
The Suicide Squad will be out on 6 August.
