David Harbour is used to facing odd creatures and weird happenings on Stranger Things, but what about digging into the really, absolutely (not) true story of his own family. That's the focus off new mockumentary Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein, which has a trailer online.
In the one-off comedy special, Harbour plays both himself and his own father, as he charts a deep dive into the history of David Harbour Jr.'s drive to put plays on TV. Among his most infamous productions is the titular story, which Harbour has dug up.
Turns out his dad was an egomaniac filmmaker in the Orson Welles tradition, a debauched, self-proclaimed genius who harboured (pun entirely intended) a darker side.
Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein (we're getting RSI typing out that title) comes courtesy of Kroll Show veterans Daniel Gray Longino and John Levenstein, and arrives on Netflix on 16 July. Stranger Things, meanwhile, will be back for its third season on July 4. Check out our review.
