Hannah John-Kamen has been enjoying a healthy couple of years, with roles in projects such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this season of Game Of Thrones and The Tunnel. She's scored a part in another big movie, with Steven Spielberg casting her in Ready Player One.

Adapted from Ernest Cline's pop culture-infused book, the story follows Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan), a young man who escapes his alternately mundane and tough real-world existence for the sanctuary of Oasis, a vast, Second Life-style virtual world. When the creator of the digital domain, James Halliday (Mark Rylance) dies, he leaves his fortune and control of Oasis to anyone who can complete a fiendishly tough Easter egg hunt. Wade spots an opportunity, but will have to face tough competition from other players and corporate entities looking to take Oasis for their own purposes.

There's no word on which character John-Kamen will play just yet, but she joins a cast that already also includes Olivia Cooke, Simon Pegg, Ben Mendelsohn, T.J. Miller and Win Morisaki. Ready Player One is scheduled to kick off shooting next month in London for a March 30, 2018 release. As for the actress, she'll be back on screens in sci-fi bounty hunter show Killjoys.
