Like an unstoppable, feathered friend catapulted into the ranks of the egg-stealing pigs, the Angry Birds sequel is headed our way. Sony has now announced that actors including Sterling K. Brown, Rachel Bloom and Leslie Jones.
There's a large assortment of people entering the voice booth for this one – the new recruits list also includes Eugenio Derbez, Zach Woods, Awkwafina, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron, Beck Bennett and The Florida Project's Brooklynn Prince.
They'll join the returning players, as Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage and Bill Hader will all be back voicing their characters for directors Thorup Van Orman and John Rice. Quite what happens remains to be seen, though given the return of Hader's pig king Leonard, we'd guess we haven't seen the last of the crafty porcines.
If you were anticipating a new outing with the birds and the bacon-to-be, Angry Birds 2 will land in US cinemas on 20 September before making its way here on 18 October.
