It’s ripped from the headlines time again. Hail To The Thief is an action-heist movie that has a bank robber using the 2004 George Bush/John Kerry election showdown in Iowa to outmanoeuvre a distracted police force.
The script has been co-written and will be directed by Jeff Wadlow, who’s about to unleash horror thriller Cry Wolf on the UK in January.
His story is loosely based on three real-life robberies that happened the night that the two American Presidential candidates hosted duelling campaign parties in an Iowa town.
