Starlets Casting

We know we've done quite a few stories on both these films recently, but we do want to keep you up to date with exciting casting news as we get it. First of all, the not unattractive Jessica Alba has joined the all-superstar cast of Sin City for Robert Rodriguez. The film is made up of three intertwined segments, and Alba will feature primarily in the segment with Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke. She plays Nancy, a beautiful exotic dancer (steady, boys) known as the "sweetheart of Sin City". Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Scarlett Johansson has joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 3, with the Cruiser, Carrie-Anne Moss, Ving Rhames and Kenneth Branagh. Apparently she is going to play an "ally" of Cruise's Ethan Hunt character, which puts her at high risk of being bumped off in the first five minutes of the film if past form is anything to go by. Johansson won the part after beating off every other young actress in Hollywood, virtually all of whom asked to be considered for it.
