On a slow news day, the US Postal Service has announced that it will be launching a new series of Star Wars stamps. 15 characters have been chosen to appear on the first class things that make mail happen, including Vader, Yoda, R2-D2, C-3PO, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan, Boba Fett, and or course Luke.
The series, which will be launched officially on May 25th at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (where we’re sure you know by now that Star Wars premiered 30 years ago), and will feature characters from across all six films. Apparently the US Post believe that **Star Wars **is popular enough to rival the sales of the Elvis stamp, which philatelists went nuts for a few years back.
Not to be outdone, Empire is making moves to have every copy of your beloved magazine delivered personally by your choice of Darth Vader or Natalie Portman.
