We have less than a month to wait until Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker leaves hyperspace and arrives on our screens. Though we doubt anyone needs reminding of that fact, some new character posters for the main cast, including some new recruits) have arrived (though poor old Domhnall Gleeson is overlooked again!)
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Character Posters
Rey (Daisy Ridley)
BB-8
C-3PO (Anthony Daniels)
Chewbacca ( Joonas Suotamo)
D-O
Finn (John Boyega)
Kylo Ren (Adam Driver)
Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac)
Zorii (Keri Russell)
Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran)
Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams)
Jannah (Naomi Ackie)
R2D2 (Jimmy Vee)
The usual suspects are here – Daisy Ridley's Rey, Adam Driver's Kylo Ren, the duo of Poe (Oscar Isaac) and Finn (John Boyega), all sporting altered looks, which isn't surprising given that the movie is set roughly a year after the events of The Last Jedi.
New this time are the likes of droid D-O, scoundrel Zorii Bliss (Keri Russell), freedom fighter Jannah (Naomi Ackie). And given that the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher means General Leia Organa only appears in scenes via footage that was previously shot for The Force Awakens, the old guard is here represented by the return of Billy Dee Williams' Lando.
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker will be in UK cinemas from 19 December. Get more exclusive content about the film in the next issue of Empire, due on 28 November.
