While even its far, far away setting hasn't been able to protect the small screen Star Wars universe from coronavirus-inflicted delays, it is continuing to build casts for the shows to follow The Mandalorian. Take the Rogue One prequel following the exploits of Diego Luna's Cassian Andor, for example, which has just added Six Underground's Adria Arjona.

Luna is back as the Rebel agent who is not above crossing moral boundaries to complete his mission, and he'll be joined by sarcastic sidekick droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk, once again ready to slip into performance capture gear). Genevieve O’Reilly is returning as Rebel Alliance bigwig Mon Mothma, while Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller are playing unknown new characters. Just like them, Arjona's role is also being kept quiet for now.

Tony Gilroy, who was drafted in to help re-write and oversee re-shoots for Rogue One, has been working on the show ever since he was brought on to take over from original boss Stephen Schiff.

The show's schedule is still a mystery for now; while Disney had been hoping to have it ready for the company's streaming service in 2021, that may not be possible given current conditions, though it may just land later next year than planned.
