Wednesday was National Spider-Man Day in the States, so if you knew and were celebrating, we hope you've cleaned off all the sticky webbing by now. Sony decided to mark the occasion via a new image from the next Spidey project to hit cinemas, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Check it out above.
The brain-spawn of writer/producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Spider-Verse is set in a parallel dimension, where Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is the titular hero. But he soon becomes aware of multiple other realities, and meets the likes of Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage).
Together, the various Spideys will have to unite to defeat a villain who threatens all of their realities. The image sees Miles getting a look at Peter's various suits.
With Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman sharing the director's chair, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse will be out on 14 December.
