Why start with a teaser when you can tease the teaser? That's the increasing train of thought in Hollywood at the moment – and that's what we've get with Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first Spidey outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We only get 18 seconds today; the full trailer for which will be released tomorrow.
While we're not shown much, we do see Tom Holland in brief action as Spidey, and an opening moment in which Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan delivers a costume upgrade courtesy of one Tony Stark. That upgrade? A winged Spidey-suit, as seen in early iterations of the comics, but never on screen until now.
Also starring are Robert Downey, Jr. as the aforementioned Tony Stark, Michael Keaton as the Vulture, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Gatalon and Marisa Tomei. Jon Watts is in the director's chair.
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into cinemas on July 7, 2017 – be sure to check back in the next 24 hours or so for the full trailer.
