Just when you thought Spider-Man: Homecoming couldn't add to its cast... It adds to its cast. The cameras are already rolling on the new stand-alone (but not origin story) Spidey outing, and Tyne Daly is aboard.
What the former Cagney & Lacey and Judging Amy star will be up to in the movie is, you will no doubt be stunned to hear... still a mystery for now, like most of the film's roles.
So far all we really know, personnel-wise is that Tom Holland is Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei is Aunt May and Robert Downey Jr. will be dropping by as Tony Stark following his interaction with Peter in Captain America: Civil War. Oh, and Michael Keaton is almost certainly the villain known as Vulture, though there has been no official confirmation of that yet.
Daly joins a cast that also includes Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr and Kenneth Choi. Spider-Man: Homecoming, now shooting in Atlanta, will be on our screens on July 7 next year.
