Following on from star Tom Holland's "accidental" reveal of the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel's title as Far From Home, the elements of the new movie are coming together, at least according to Deadline, which reports that Curb Your Enthusiasm veteran J.B. Smoove has joined the cast.

Jon Watts is back directing the new movie, with shooting under way in London for a film that is expected to see Peter Parker (we suppose a pile of dust is fairly easy to take in carry on luggage, though we do wonder what the TSA would think) on a trip overseas, one we assume will be like National Lampoon's European Vacation but with more web-slinging heroics and Jake Gyllenhaal causing problems as the villain Mysterio. Smoove's role in the movie, meanwhile, has yet to be announced.

Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and even Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes are expected to be back for the sequel, which is aiming for a July 2019 release.
