If you happen to call Kevin Spacey's mobile over the next couple of days and a nice gentleman answers, you might want to ask him if he'd mind returning it. The man in question took it upon himself to extend a traditional London welcome to Spacey, who is currently serving as Artistic Director at the Old Vic, mugging the actor for his mobile while he was out walking his dog on Saturday morning. Spacey promptly reported the attack to the local constabulary but, rather than having them bring in the usual suspects, he returned a few hours later (after being treated for a minor head wound at St Thomas' Hospital) and instructed police not to pursue the matter. "He reported the robbery of his mobile phone while walking his dog in Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park," said a spokesperson for the Met. "He later contacted police that day and withdrew the allegation. That is the end of it from our point of view." And like that
