The Sound of Woo-sic

Having spent yesterday afternoon with the man, Empire Online would like to declare that John Woo - he of the largest body count in movie history - is quite possibly the nicest man on earth. Surprised? Well don't be. Not only is he a big softy but he doesn't own a gun, has never fired one and has no interest in them outside his movies. You may ask what such a person is doing at the top of the action game, but don't think violence and explosive mayhem is the limit of John Woo's talents. Woo is currently working on a musical project, something he's previously described as a cross between The Killer and Cabaret. "We have almost got a finished script right now," he told us. "It is an ambitious project. I have been dreaming of making this for seven years. It is an American gangster story, based on a true story. In the 1920s there was a gang boss who was also a great dancer. It
