A host of Hollywood stars turned out for the Los Angeles premiere of Guy Ritchie's Snatch last night (18 January). Ritchie and his new bride Madonna, in contrasting black and white suits, oversaw proceedings at the DGA theatre, where demand for tickets was so high that they had to be specially coded to avoid forgeries and extra security was put on. Just as well, as the likes of Robert Downey Jr. (who was accompanied by Sting's wife Trudie Styler), Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston turned up to see what all the fuss was about. The British stars of Snatch, Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham, were also on hand, and Statham brought fianc Kelly Brook. But despite his role in the film, and the fact that his wife Aniston was in attendance, Brad Pitt was a no-show, as he was busy filming Spy Game in Europe with Robert Redford. It also meant he avoided being in the same room with both Aniston and his ex, Paltrow. After the screening the stars were treated to a champagne reception at the exclusive Blue Club in Las Palmas.
