In what sounds like the nuttiest plot to happen along for ages, the Korean-themed D-War features LA being destroyed by a giant serpent.
South Korean director Shim Hyun-rae has already shot his $145 million epic on location in the city, with a cast that includes Jason Behr, Robert Forster, Elizabeth Pena and Amanda Brooks.
Taken partly from Korean folklore, the story sees the serpent destroys the city as it searches for a girl who can turn it into a dragon. Clearly, it’s never heard of the phone book.
A US release is set for November, but there’s no word on a UK date for the film yet.
