It isn't often that the great and good of Hollywood have committed a crime so bad (or employed a lawyer so useless) that they have to go to jail for it. So it's with a degree of surprise that we hear today that actor Tom Sizemore has been sentenced to six months in the slammer for abusing his former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss. Sizemore won't be heading to jail just yet - there's a further hearing in January - but in the meantime the star was ordered to undertake drug rehabilitation and anger-management classes. The judge also ordered Sizemore to pay $1200 in fines, submit to periodic drug testing and placed him under probation for a further three years. Former Hollywood Madam Fleiss issued a statement after the hearing, saying of Sizemore, 'I loved that man and I was very good to him and what he did to me was wrong. I want to pretend I never met him.'
