While the Mouse House's big investor day as light on news about its live-action films (most of which have already been revealed), there was news on the small screen movie front. Chief amongst them? That Sister Act 3 is in the works with Whoopi Goldberg starring and producing and confirmation that the Enchanted sequel is actually happening.
Little was revealed about Sister Act 3 beyond its Whoopi-ness, but we do know that the Enchanted sequel is called Disenchanted and will see Amy Adams return.
Also confirmed for Disney+? A Three Men And A Baby reboot starring Zac Efron, Hocus Pocus 2 and a new take on Cheaper By The Dozen starring Gabrielle Union. David Lowery's Peter Pan And Wendy and Robert Zemeckis' Pinocchio, with Tom Hanks as Geppetto will also head directly to the streaming service, in a move sure to worry cinema chains. They'll have to content themselves with Jungle Cruise, Cruella, The Little Mermaid and the Lion King prequel, though given the news on Raya And The Last Dragon debuting both in cinemas and on Disney+ (for an additional fee), there might be more reason for concern.
