In sad news for comic book fans, Variety has reported that Sin City 2 has moved back to next year from a previously-announced release date this summer. The sequel was announced in the middle of last year following the first film's success, but with Rodriguez also working with Tarantino on portmanteau film Grind things have slowed down since then.
In the same article, Bob Weinstein also spoke about Superhero!, the latest spoof to challenge the success of the Scary Movie series. This time, unsurprisingly, the target is comic book movies, and the film is being fast-tracked for a December release, with David Zucker directing.
