A couple of days ago, we brought you the initial images of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and the rest of the gang in new supernatural horror comedy series Truth Seekers. Now the first teaser trailer for the show is online.

Written by Pegg, Frost, Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz, and directed by Criminal's Jim Field Smith, Truth Seekers is about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see.

However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race.

Amazon will bring the show to the world, though there's no date yet. And the trailer debuted during the Comic-Con@Home panel, which was hosted by someone that Empire readers might be familiar with. We want to say his name is Chris... Howitt? Konk Humble? Canon Howitzer? We forget. But enjoy anyway...
