Dealing with stress in a marriage can happen any number of ways, but we're not sure that planning a bank robbery so you can figure out your feelings is the way to go. Still, it's a good concept for a heist comedy, and which is where My Only Sunshine comes in. Simon Pegg and JK Simmons will star.

Mark Palansky is directing, working from a script by JT Petty and K Reed Petty. We don't yet know what roles Pegg or Simmons will be playing, but the story sees a dysfunctional couple orchestrating a bank heist as an unconventional way to heal their rift. They try to make peace with the shocking mystery of their relationship throughout the violent hostage situation, discovered by a cop hostage negotiator who previously investigated a past related crime.

The cameras should be cranking on this one in the autumn, with rights to the film available at next month's Toronto Film Festival.

Pegg is one of the voices of The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance (arriving on Netflix this Friday) and is part of the cast for new thriller Inheritance. Simmons appears in 21 Bridges, out 22 November.
