Seth MacFarlane is close to locking in the entire principal cast for his new comedy Western A Million Ways To Die. The latest name to enter talks?Sarah Silverman, who could be playing a prostitute.

MacFarlane, who has co-written and will direct, is also starring as a cowardly sheep farmer who chickens out of a gun duel. That leads to his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) dumping him for another man.

Looking to find the courage to win her back, MacFarlane reaches out to a new, gunslinging arrival in town (Charlize Theron). She teaches him how to be more of a man while improving his aim, but trouble rides in when her outlaw husband (Liam Neeson) shows up, and our hero has to put his newfound courage to the test.

Silverman (last heard rather than seen in Wreck-It Ralph), according to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources, is in talks for the town’s prostitute, a woman who will sleep with anyone any way for money, but refuses to have sex with her fiancé (Giovanni Ribisi) because of her religious beliefs. Which, let’s face it, is the sort of thing you expect from the writing team behind Ted, which also includes Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.

A Million Ways To Die In The West is set to kick off shooting in May.
